Accessibility Statement

How Advanced Tree Services aims to make this website accessible and how to request help or information in an alternative format.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Advanced Tree Services Limited wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website, regardless of technology, ability or circumstances.

Need information in another format?

If you need information from this website in a more accessible format, or would prefer us to explain it by telephone, please contact us using the details at the end of this statement.

Our commitment

We aim to make this website usable and accessible, and to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where reasonably practicable.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review the website as its content and functionality change and work to correct barriers that we identify or that visitors report to us.

Using this website

You should be able to:

  • navigate the main website using a keyboard;
  • zoom text and page content without losing essential information;
  • use the website across common desktop, tablet and mobile screen sizes;
  • follow a logical heading structure and descriptive links; and
  • use common assistive technologies to read and navigate the main page content.

Browser and device settings can also be used to change text size, colours and contrast. AbilityNet provides guidance on adapting a computer, tablet or phone through its My Computer My Way service.

Accessibility features

The website has been designed with accessibility in mind. Features include:

  • clear headings, labels and link wording;
  • visible keyboard focus styles for interactive controls;
  • colour and contrast choices intended to keep text readable;
  • alternative text for meaningful website images where appropriate;
  • forms with labels, instructions and clear validation messages; and
  • responsive layouts that reflow for smaller screens.

Known limitations

Some information may be difficult to make fully accessible because of its format or technical nature. Known areas to consider include:

  • Survey plans, maps and technical drawings: these are highly visual and may not communicate every detail to screen-reader users.
  • PDFs and downloadable documents: some documents supplied by ATS, clients or other organisations may not be fully structured for assistive technology.
  • Third-party services: embedded or externally provided services may not meet the same accessibility standard as the main ATS website.

If any plan, report, document or third-party feature creates a barrier, contact us. Where reasonably possible, we will provide an accessible summary, an alternative format or another way to obtain the information.

Feedback and assistance

Please tell us if you encounter an accessibility problem, cannot access part of the website or need help completing an enquiry.

It is helpful if you include the page or document concerned, a brief description of the problem, and the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. We will review your request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Testing and review

This website was reviewed during development using manual checks of keyboard navigation, visible focus, responsive layouts, headings, links, forms, alternative text and colour contrast.

The website has not been certified by an independent accessibility auditor. We will continue to review it as content, documents and services are added or changed. This statement will be updated when material accessibility information changes.
