MEET THE ATS TEAM

Daron Mitchell
Managing Director

Daron has been working within the arboricultural industry for 22 years. Before establishing ATS in 1997 he was a contract manager for London borough arboricultural contracts. With exceptional communication skills, he maintains close and regular contact with every client and is deeply committed to working in partnership to deliver the best possible service. He still remains an enthusiastic climber and operative whenever the opportunity is available and believes that a hands on approach is key to developing commitment from his ATS colleagues and clients alike.

Dominic Blake
CEO

Dominic joined ATS in 2006 after 15 years as a local authority tree officer in Wokingham, Ealing and Kingston upon Thames. His knowledge and experience within the industry have proved invaluable in developing the consultancy side of the business as well as undertaking the contract procurement process. Dominic prides himself on his levels of professionalism and commitment to the continued success of ATS.

Rob Knew
Regional Manager

Rob joined ATS when the company acquired Collis Tree Services in 2012. Previous to this he held foreman positions in the UK, Germany and Australia. He joined Collis Tree services in 2000, rapidly rising to the post of Operational Manager.

Mark Smith
Regional Manager

Mark has been with ATS since 2002 and started part time splitting logs. Mark has progressed through the company to be an invaluable part of our senior management team. With his positive attitude and his ability to communicate with clients and operatives alike, Mark is responsible for our Ripley branch office ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Ivan Hopkinson
Assistant Consultant

Ivan has risen through the ranks at ATS and has progressed his career in Arboricultural Health and Safety whilst also undertaking Tree Surveying. He is now our Assistant Consultant and OPM Contracts Manager.

Lu Main
Office Manager

Whilst overlooking the day to day running of the office, Lu mainly concentrates on the administration side to the Company’s Council Contracts and also deals with the day to day financial obligations. Lu has been with ATS since 2007.

Lizbeth Gottwald
Administrator

Liz joined ATS in October 2016. Liz is responsible for our private [household] clients and is always the friendly voice you hear at the end of the phone. She also provides the service of TPO and Conservation Area Applications on behalf of the client when needed.

Dawn Grinsell
Administrator
Having joined ATS in October 2020 Dawn looks after our general day to day office administration. She also assists with the administration and bookings during the OPM season.
